Energy Star Qualification
Our status as a certified Home Energy
Rater allows us to qualify your home for the Energy Star® for Homes
program, the best known US standard for energy efficiency.
To earn the ENERGY STAR label, a home must first be verified to be at
least 15% more energy-efficient in its heating, cooling, water heating,
lights and appliances than a comparable home built to International
Energy Conservation Code standards.
Home Energy Rating
The Gold Standard in Energy Audits! Includes our Comprehensive Audit Package. In addition, homes receive a HERS Index Score - a numeric score that provides homeowners with an objective measure of their home's energy performance, similar to a car's MPG rating - generated through extensive computer modeling.
This service is most appropriate for those homeowners considering remodeling or building a new home with the desire to achieve specific performance goals for their energy usage.
*A HERS Rating is required for many Energy STAR programs, as well as for qualification for Energy Efficient Mortgage & Energy Improvement Mortgage finance programs.*
